A. Joining is easy, simply complete the membership form available online
and return to address on it. Or pick up a form at the club house and hand in.

A. Yes! The club runs regular "come and try it" sessions.

A. Most definitely NO! The club caters for
all abilities from those who've never seen a kayak before to the river running
gods of the alps!
A. The club normally meets on Sundays at 10.00am during the club season. Various events and
trips also run throughout the year at different times. The dates and times of such trips are
published on the club programme.
A. No, unless obviously you are using your own equipment or it is an organised club event.
A. Unfortunately due to limited coaches and club equipment we can not guarantee you will be able to paddle
every session. However, wherever possible we will endeavour to ensure you can.
A. No. The club is run on a first come
first served basis. However, it maybe necessary to book trips as some have
limited spaces. To book on a trip you should contact the trip organisers shown
on the club programme.
A. No, all the necessary kayak equipment
is provided by the club. Members just need to wear suitable clothing to get wet
and some form of footwear.
A. No! For insurance purposes and
liability club equipment can only be used with the permission and supervision of
a club coach.
A. Club membership does ensure free parking in the centre car park. Use of the car park is limited to Sunday club sessions only & for those carrying kayaks/canoes on their car. It is provided on a first come first served basis with members required to pay for parking in the main car park when full.
